1. Education Requirement
Candidates must complete a comprehensive curriculum covering the 8 core disciplines of financial planning. This is typically fulfilled via a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution alongside a specific 240-hour IFP Board-Registered program.

2. Experience Requirement
Theoretical knowledge is insufficient. Candidates must prove they can apply this knowledge in real-world scenarios. We accept two pathways:
- Standard Pathway: 6,000 hours of professional experience related to the personal financial planning process.
- Apprenticeship Pathway: 4,000 hours of experience delivered under the direct supervision of an active IFP professional.
